5 Ways to incorporate Colour to your Eye Makeup | The Face Palette | Makeup and Beauty
Hello lovely friends,
This is my first post on 'The Face Palette' and I am thrilled to be writing articles on makeup and beauty. I love colours and I love incorporating them to my makeup looks so thought why not I write an article about 5 ways in which you can incorporate colour to your eye makeup.
Adding colour to your eye makeup is such a fun and creative way to express yourself, and helps you switch from the usual everyday bronze/neutral look.
Not all of us are used to wearing colour on our lids but with it being summer, I think it's the perfect time to start!
Here are 5 ways to spice up your eye look-
1. Teal all over:
This look is really simple, but looks stunning nevertheless. All you have to do is sweep a light/pastel shade all over your lid and voila! You're done! I also added a little bit of clear gloss, which is totally optional. You can also use glitter eyeliner on top if you like a bit of sparkle!
2. Pink lower lash:
This is one of my absolute favourites. Smoke out your lower lash line with a colour of your choice- I chose pink because it really pops. You can go ahead and add some winged eyeliner and mascara to complete the look.
3. Coloured eyeliner:
Skip the black and brown eyeliner and go for a pop of colour! You can even add a lighter shade all over your lid, like I did. You can use a coloured eyeliner or even eyeshadow to create your wing. I think this looks beautiful! You can also use Liquid lipsticks that are eye safe as your winged liner!!
4. Neon inner corners:
This is a great option if you don't want to do a bright colour all over your eyelid. You can do a simple wing, or even just mascara, and put any bright/neon eyeshadow in your inner corners. This will really pep up the look and open up your eyes.
5. Purple crease:
This is perfect for a night out- super flirty and gorgeous! A black smokey eye with purple on the crease and lower lash line. Blending is the key here- the more you blend, the better it looks!
To create these looks I used :
Makeup Revolution Color Chaos palette
Freedom Makeup Clubbed to Death palette
For a high end option, you can very well go for the Urban Decay Electric palette and incorporate various colours to your eye makeup this Summer.
I hope you enjoyed this article. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to get in touch with me.
Until next time!
